Timeline

1919

Born in Logansport Indiana on May 06, 1919.
To William Curtis Hollis and Cora Mae Martin.

1941

Joined the U.S. Army and served as light morter crew man.

1941-1945

His military career took him to New Guiea,The South Philippine Liberation, and Luzon.
During his military career he earned many decorations to include four Bronze Stars, a Bronze Arrowhead, and he earned his Purple heart on April 4, 1945 when he was wounded by an enemy grenade.

Sept 4 1945

He returned home to marry his wife Glendora Rushton. They made their home in Muncie, Indiana.

May 25 1949

Their first daughter Judith Ann was born.

Sept 10 1950

Their second daughter Jeanine Marie was born.

Nov 22 1951

Thier middle child Kathy Eileen was born.

June 20 1954

Thier fourth child Vickie Lynn was born.

Dec 2 1955

Thier youngest daughter Jane Lee was born.

2005

Passed away on March 31, 2005 at the age of 85.
